Hiya Stampin’ NUTS!

GUESS WHAT?!?!

Stampin’ Up! has released one of their stamp sets with coordinating thinlit die sets from the 2017 Holiday Catalog for sale ONE MONTH EARLY!! This means you can order this stamp set and the matching thinlits today, which they are offering in a bundle — YAASSS!! (Who doesn’t wanna save 10% on something you know you’re going to buy anyways?!?). The rest of the Holiday Catalog is not available for ordering until September  1st, 2017, a whole 31 days away!!!

Card Front Builder Thinlits 144674
Carols of Christmas 144804 (Clear)

The set available for purchase is Carols of Christmas Stamp Set (144804) and the Card Builder Thinlits Dies. (144674) If you know you are going to buy both, there is a bundle offered (146037). I always suggest buying the bundle when it is offered, if it is something you are able to do because it does save you 10% than if you were to buy the items separately. I love a deal!!

UPDATE: Where have I been?

Hey there, Stampin’ Nuts!

I just wanted to let you know I am still around and my blog has not been abandoned! I recently had a lifelong dream come true, I was admitted into law school!! I started in mid August and it has been intense. I haven’t had any time for creativity! It is sad, but just a small sacrifice. I am home today healing and recovering not only from my first round of mid-terms but from a root canal I had yesterday. Yes, my life really has been full lately! HA HA HA

With this little recovery break today, I’m hoping to get some posts that I’ve had in the back of my mind ready for you. I even have 2 Paper Pumpkin videos I need to share!

THIS JUST IN… BREAKING NEWS!!

After years of being a Stampin’ Up! customer, I have decided to go for it by becoming a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator!! YAY!! I have already ordered my start up bundle and will be a part of Brandy Cox’s Butterflies and Blooms Team! I just adore Brandy and she has really grown her business and I am looking forward to learning everything I possibly can from her!

What does this mean for the Stamp-Nut Blog??? Well, within the week I will update it so you can shop Stampin’ Up!’s website 24/7!! Yeah, anytime you feel the need (or want, which is usually my case) you can place an order right on Stamp-Nut! Also, I’m thinking of adjusting the name from Stamp-Nut to Stampin’ Nut, because it’s super cute, LOL! Plus, the inside scoop on EVERYTHING STAMPIN’ UP!!

YAY!! There will definitely be MORE to come very, very, soon!!

Going Nuts! (No, seriously, I may be going nuts- and you’re invited!)

WOW! There is so much going on right now! I have been blessed with an amazingly full plate in my life.  I just wanted to drop a quick note to all my Stamp-Nuts to keep you posted. So, What is going on, you ask??

For starters, June 1st was Saturday, which equals new Idea Book and Catalog for Stampin’ Up!! Check out the PDF here if you haven’t seen it already.

I've already had mine laminated and spiral bound!!
I’ve already had mine laminated                   and spiral bound!!

My Wish List is growing by the minute… I don’t know how I’m supposed to narrow it down to place my first order, HA HA!

Also, mom and I have been trying to organize our craft room. This got kicked into high gear last weekend when I began with a simple plan, organize my 8 1/2 X 11 Stampin’ Up! cardstock. Well, within 24 hours, I had asked “Did you see how Brandy organized her cardstock scraps? She puts them in file folders. We have plenty of file folders, let me do that.” Then we were getting storage cube file cabinets and putting them together. Moving everything out of our “storage room” (which will hopefully be our crafting room, we’ve been saying this for YEARS, but we are really getting close!!) and trying to make a plan to put our stamping stuff back in. We moved a slat-board standing fixture into the room and over 15 cubes. We are going to put slat-board up on the walls and paint eventually. My parents have lived in this house since they got married and you can collect A LOT of stuff in over 30 years. This is a major overhaul for sure! This will end up being a post series in the future with pictures!!

Ok, so what else is going on? Well, I will be beginning law school in the fall and attended my first open house this past week. Also, with work, church and other community obligations I’ve been stretch a bit the last week or two. I apologize for not giving you Stamp-Nuts more.

Special thanks and Welcome to my grandparents, John and Verda, they’re now official “Stamp-Nuts!”

AND IN THIS CORNER….

Alrighty, I have have been struck with a BOLT of inspiration and what I think is a great idea. Are you super pumped and ready to hear ALL about it?? I know you are! So, let’s get to it!

I’m going to do a feature called RINGSIDE! It’ll be a compare and contrast between 2 different, yet similar items. For example Microfine and Ultrafine glitter or Dye and Pigment ink. The first one will be Classic (dye) vs. Craft (pigment) ink. This comes from my chalkboard technique card, where I mentioned I would expand on the differences and uses of the 2 types of ink. I would like to do this feature once a week, but since I’m just really beginning to get the blog going, I’d hate to make any promises.

P.S. I want to make sure I say a special “Thank You” to Cindy0954 for becoming a “Stamp-Nut” 😀 and following my blog! Feel free to sign up, just enter you e-mail in right-hand column.
